Elderly care is the administration's largest area, responsible for special housing, group housing, short-term housing, security housing, home care, family support, meeting points, and authority handling.

Team Öster

Team Öster is a home care group that operates from its location Rosa Villan on Garvaregatan and works across a geographical area around Norrtorn, Kolberga, Mockebo, and out towards Saltvik.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in home care, you work in the client’s own home and implement approved care and service measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health and medical care measures according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). The work is based on the decisions made by the assistance officer and is carried out with the individual’s needs, self-determination, and integrity in focus.

Your assignment includes ensuring that clients receive safe, individualized, and quality care together with your colleagues. You support clients in their daily lives through personal care, service measures, and social support.

The work requires independence, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize in a varied workday.

The work also involves:

• contributing to activation and rehabilitative working methods based on the individual’s conditions
• performing medical tasks on delegation from authorized personnel
• documenting according to applicable legislation and routines
• collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals
• participating in business development, quality work, and skills development
• working based on the social services' values where the individual’s well-being and participation are always at the center

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and preferably has experience working in home care, elderly care, or similar fields.

Requirements:

• trained nursing assistant
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• good computer skills and the ability to work in digital operational systems
• B driver's license
