You will be part of the Social Administration in Lindesberg Municipality, placed in Assistance and Adult Services. Here, you will work together with an engaged team of about 11 colleagues, all focused on providing good service and lawful handling. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a case officer, you will play an important role in creating security and quality of life for our elderly residents. You will work with investigating, assessing, and deciding on services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and follow up to ensure that needs are met in the best possible way.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Investigate and decide on services according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and possibly LSS.
  • Maintain contact with users, relatives, and collaborating actors.
  • Document and follow up decisions according to applicable legislation.
  • Work based on IBIC (Individual Needs in Center) to create individual and needs-adapted services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in social work or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in authority exercise or case handling according to SoL or LSS.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • A valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with IBIC.
  • Experience in case handling within elderly care or support for people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of documentation systems Lifecare, Viva.

As a case officer, you meet people in various life situations. Therefore, it is important that you are attentive and have a good ability to communicate and build trust. You need to have good collaboration skills and be able to work well with your colleagues and clients. You are structured and meticulous to ensure lawful handling. Furthermore, you have a solution-focused work approach and can handle complex situations.
