Berghultskolan is a fine F-9 school that has two classes in each grade. The school is beautifully located next to a school forest and has a really good playground that allows for movement throughout the day for our students. Berghultskolan operates based on a team-led organizational model with high participation in the school's improvement journey.

Berghultskolan is located in Floda, and many of our employees commute from both Gothenburg and Alingsås. Public transport is directly connected to the school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

If you are an experienced and driven teacher in MaNO & TK, we are now looking for you to help build the school's teaching together with students and colleagues.

You are a teacher with a great interest in your subjects, who succeeds in creating both curiosity and engagement among our students.

It is important for the position that you are a natural leader in the classroom, who takes responsibility for creating a positive learning environment and a climate where students dare to try, in order to learn together.

You are a clear team player who enjoys collaborating with your colleagues in a work team. As a team, you have a lot of freedom to shape our operations around the students' learning.

Your responsibilities include mentorship, where you have a special responsibility to follow up and support the individual students' development, both socially and academically. It is important that you have the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Your responsibilities also include creating a cohesive thread for the school's science education, both individually and together with colleagues. At Berghultskolan, we meet regularly through subject conferences where we will develop our teaching on a systemic basis during the autumn.

This position is available starting VT 26, while the focus is on finding the right person. We have the opportunity to wait with the employment during a possible notice period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you, a certified teacher with the qualification to teach mathematics, science, and technology in grades 7-9.

You are confident in your leadership, both inside and outside the classroom. You have good IT skills and are used to using digital tools in teaching. At Berghultskolan, everyone works with Classroom.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability related to the work team and mentorship.
