The BB/Gyn department at Gävle Hospital is seeking an experienced midwife for two consecutive assignment periods over the turn of the year and spring 2026. The work is carried out in a team with nursing assistants and other staff, with responsibility for standard tasks within postpartum, gynecology, and obstetric care.

• December 22, 2025 – January 25, 2026 (week 52–4) – 109.5 hours
• February 23, 2026 – March 15, 2026 (week 9–11) – 120 hours

Scope: 100% in both assignments

Up to 9–10 patients per day.

Vårdix standard requirements apply, as well as the client's additional requirements:

• Licensed midwife with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience working in a BB/Gyn department.
• Valid SITHS card level 3 (LOA3).
• If card information is missing, the client will charge according to the agreement (3500 SEK or 5500 SEK depending on the assignment).
• Valid Adult S-HLR.
• Good independence, confident in patient flows with shared care.
• Experience with the journal systems Cosmic, Obstetrix, and LifeCare.
