We are about 400 colleagues in the administration, and our role is to provide residents with the right tools so they can take responsibility for their own development and livelihood. Additionally, we coordinate the city's work on migration and establishment issues.

Job Responsibilities

Komvux Helsingborg is now seeking a team leader for the SFI program conducted within the framework of self-management. The program consists of 5 qualified teachers who together work with a student volume of 80-90 students throughout the year in courses 1A and 1B.

As a team leader, you will lead the team in collaboration with the school's principal. This includes developing the educational aspect of the program through study days, student conferences, and team meetings. In addition, you will work with the team to enhance group effectiveness and goal fulfillment towards our students.

You will be responsible for planning the program, including scheduling, administration, and conversations with new students at the start of the course, and act as a contact person for both the admissions unit (SFI hub) and the Employment Agency. You will also help design ways to measure what our students think of their education.

Approximately 40-50% of the position will be as a teacher within the program. You will not have your own group but will work with certain students. We would like you to help determine the format for the educational aspect.

Qualifications

We want you to:

• Be a licensed teacher in the appropriate school form (SFI).
• Have experience working with the target group (study path 1 within SFI).
• Have the ability to lead groups and collaborate in teams.
• Have a good ability to plan and create structure.
• Formal leadership experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
