About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher in after-school care, you will work pedagogically and socially based on the goals and guidelines of the organization.

You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in accordance with applicable governing documents and actively work to develop the after-school care activities. Together with the team, you will be responsible for creating a safe environment for the students, both during school hours and in after-school care.

You will be responsible for promoting the students' development and learning, as well as finding strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher in after-school care, or alternatively, someone with a degree in leisure pedagogy or a teaching degree for leisure pedagogical activities. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage.

You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them pedagogically in your daily work. You need to have digital competence to manage information, documentation, and parts of the teaching. Your teaching is perceived as safe through clear leadership, where you have the ability to create a secure environment for all students. To successfully fulfill this role, you need to be structured and flexible, as well as have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

About the Workplace

Häckebergaskolan in Genarp is a F-3 school located by Romeleåsen in fantastic nature. At the school, we have about 30 employees who together create a good learning environment for our 200 students every day. Just a stone's throw from the school are the natural areas of Risen and Ekevallens sports field with trails for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Thanks to the proximity to nature, we have good opportunities for outdoor education, for example, in our outdoor classroom or at Häckeberga Kvarn where we often spend our outdoor days.

Our school dog also works in the organization, supporting students in their education. Our ongoing development work focuses on safety and study peace.

In the child and school administration, we work to create equity and good conditions for all children and students within our preschools, primary schools, and adapted primary schools to reach their goals.
