About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher in home economics and English, you will teach, inspire, and develop students in grades 6-9.

Your responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons to achieve learning and development for students based on their individual circumstances. You document and follow up on each student's learning and development and communicate this with students and guardians. In your role, you see each student and strengthen their belief in their own ability to learn while encouraging lifelong learning.

The teaching role also includes preparing students for life in a democratic and multicultural society. You will be a mentor for a student group and be part of a work team.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher qualified to teach home economics and English in grades 6-9. Qualification in additional subjects is desirable. Previous experience working as a primary school teacher is a requirement.

You are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work. You are solution-oriented and have a good ability to see the big picture. You have an inclusive approach and work to ensure that all students have good opportunities to achieve the curriculum goals. You are familiar with the governing documents and can explain the goals to the students. We also appreciate interdisciplinary work.

Personal qualities we seek include clarity, calmness, and security, as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships. A positive attitude and flexibility are highly valued.
