Instructor/Vocational Teacher in Equine Studies

Bollerup Agricultural Institute and Nature Conservation High School is an independent upper secondary school in beautiful Österlen. Here we offer agricultural programs with a focus on horses or farming, and our students come from all over Sweden to take part in our unique environment and solid education.

Bollerup is now seeking an instructor/vocational teacher in equine studies – an engaged and goal-oriented person who wants to contribute to the development and strengthening of our equine education.

The Position

As an instructor and vocational teacher with us, you will plan and conduct teaching in courses related to equine studies and the development of young horses. You will work in riding arenas, stable environments, and classrooms, with varied and practical teaching moments. The position will also include general tasks related to horse care at our facility.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education and experience as a riding instructor, preferably with trainer status at level B or higher. You have a genuine interest in teaching and engaging with youth in their development. It is an advantage if you are a hippologist, young horse trainer, or riding instructor with a focus on dressage or jumping, as well as having pedagogical experience from a school environment.

You are a structured and social person who works solution-oriented and innovatively, and you see opportunities that contribute to development for both students and colleagues.

Employment

Permanent part-time position. Start date by agreement.
