Vita School is the small school in the village with proximity to many amenities. The school has students enrolled in the Adapted Primary School. Approximately 30 students are divided into various classes from grades 1 to 9.

We currently have an after-school program for students attending our adapted primary school and for students in grades 4–6 of the primary school. We also have some collaboration with LSS and have students who receive short-term supervision with us.

We who work together at the school and after-school program are a group that is passionate about making a difference for our students. We excel at meeting students who need extra support in their education and daily lives. We are now missing you, a colleague who is committed to our operations and who would like to be part of further developing our after-school program and school together with us.

Outdoor activities and movement are an important part of our operations, and we actively work with movement initiatives and recess activities. We are part of the Movement Initiative in collaboration with RF-SISU Skåne and ALLAS Skol-IF, which is part of our quality work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for you, an engaged and resourceful licensed teacher who has a strong desire to develop yourself and others!

You will work with some teaching in the adapted primary school part of the day, but also plan and teach for the students in the after-school program in collaboration with colleagues. You will be an important part of our systematic quality work in the after-school program and will also work with recess activities together with colleagues. You will also be part of a smaller teaching group during part of the day. You will have close collaboration with school management and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who truly enjoys developing and growing in their role as a teacher. You see opportunities to provide the best for the school's students based on their conditions and needs. Your leadership and approach are important skills for leading a small group with many pedagogical challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who is a licensed teacher in after-school programs with a focus on home economics and/or aesthetics.

In your role as a teacher, it is important that you are calm, secure, stable, and clear in your leadership during teaching. It is important that you have good collaboration skills and are solution-focused. You participate with colleagues in the school's development work and work towards set goals.

We would like you to have knowledge/experience working with students in need of special support, knowledge of accessible learning environments, and experience working with digital aids, e.g., visual support.

You are well-versed in the curriculum and the assignment of after-school programs. You can organize and structure work based on specified goals and create creative ways to explain to students what is expected of them.

Your personal qualities are of great importance, and if you have previously worked with students in adapted primary school, it is an advantage.
