We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with professional experience who wants to work with us in the municipal home care in Värnamo municipality during the summer of 2026.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves performing delegated health and medical care tasks, such as taking samples and changing dressings, on behalf of nurses. You work closely with the nurses and together you plan the day in your geographical area. We work in multiprofessional teams with a common focus on the patient, which includes nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, and nursing assistants.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have experience in the profession. As a person, you are secure and have the ability to create a positive climate. You are attentive and empathetic, and you find it easy to collaborate. You should be able to work independently, plan, and organize your work. Collaboration with relatives is a given for you.

Conditions

• A driving license valid for manual transmission is a requirement.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Nursing assistant is a protected professional title, and you therefore need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

The Care Administration is responsible for our elderly, people with disabilities, and the municipality's home care. The administration also works with rehabilitation and prevention so that our citizens can live a good life throughout their lives.
