Key Account Manager – Create New Business and Drive Growth

We are looking for a Key Account Manager with a strong hunter profile – a person driven by identifying new business opportunities, actively seeking new customers, and driving new customer acquisition.

With us, you will have a strategic and independent role in an international environment with high technical content, where you will become a key person in our growth journey.

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager for Southco at Aero Materiel AB, you will be an important part of our international sales team and report directly to the CEO. You will work closely with some of the Nordic region's most well-known industrial companies in the automotive and telecom industries, such as Volvo Cars, Volvo AB, Ericsson, and Nokia.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive growth through active prospecting and new customer acquisition
  • Identify and create new business opportunities
  • Be a strategic partner for innovative solutions that enhance customers' products
  • Develop existing customer relationships and build a strong network
  • Drive project sales with customized solutions
  • Collaborate with global teams within Southco and AMA
  • Participate in trade shows and technical customer days

You will have your own budget and result responsibility and work strategically with risk analyses and processing plans. The position involves regular travel both within Sweden and internationally, approximately 2–3 days per week.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Documented experience in B2B sales with good results
  • Experience in actively prospecting and acquiring new customers as well as initiating business with both new and existing customers
  • A strong ability to identify business opportunities and drive them to closure
  • Good negotiation skills and experience in international business
  • Technical understanding, preferably in design, mechanics, or industrial economics
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills and a B driver's license

Experience from the automotive industry is a merit but not a requirement.
