Junior Buyer

Our client, a prominent company that has recently expanded through acquisitions, is now seeking a Junior Buyer. You will have a unique opportunity to grow into a key role and contribute to the integration of new businesses in a dynamic and supportive environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In the role of Junior Buyer, you will work with administrative purchasing and be a central contact point to support the integration of newly acquired companies. You will be the spider in the web with many points of contact and an important part of ensuring smooth purchasing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

The role involves handling administrative purchasing tasks, such as order placement and supplier assessments, as well as being involved in system implementation and training new employees. You will be an important resource in maintaining efficient purchasing flows.

  • Place orders
  • Initiate and conduct supplier assessments
  • Handle incoming phone calls and provide support
  • Review and manage requisitions
  • Monitor processes for new system implementation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Has 1-3 years of relevant work experience in purchasing
  • Has the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Has advanced ability to create and maintain good relationships
  • Has good ability to manage multiple parallel tasks with focus
