At Kommuninvest, you get a unique opportunity to work with data, analysis, and reporting that is central to the sustainable development of the municipal sector.
Kommuninvest is a member-owned credit market company that offers Swedish municipalities and regional groups competitive and sustainable loan financing for housing, infrastructure, schools, and hospitals, among other things. Together, we get better loan terms than each of us would alone. Since its inception in 1986, Kommuninvest has saved billions for its members in the form of lower interest rates. Currently, 296 municipalities and regions are members of this voluntary collaboration. With a balance sheet total of approximately 600 billion SEK, Kommuninvest is the largest lender to the municipal and regional sector and thus an important player for sustainable development in Sweden. We work long-term, knowledge-driven, and with great commitment to ensure that our members have the best possible conditions to create sustainable communities.
About the role:
As a sustainability analyst, you will be part of the Accounting and Reporting group, where you work closely with our sustainability controller. You will be part of a competent team where collaboration, high expertise, and a desire to deliver quality are central. The tasks are data-driven, recurring, and often project-based, making structure, accuracy, and the ability to work independently particularly important. The role involves many internal contacts, especially with sustainability, lending, and controlling, where communication needs to be secure and clear.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will primarily work with analysis and reporting related to our sustainable loan products and our external reporting.
Examples of tasks include:
- Conducting and further developing sustainability reporting in the annual report and Pillar 3.
- Updating and developing analyses and calculations related to, among other things, Pillar 3 reporting and the calculation of financed greenhouse gas emissions.
- Conducting sustainability analyses and following up on how our operations affect the environment and society.
- Quality assuring sustainability data and performing calculations that enable impact measurement and reporting on the benefits our green and social loans contribute to.
- Participating in cross-functional work and contributing to good collaboration between departments.
- Participating in the specification and quality assurance of sustainability data in our systems, including a new lending system, data warehouse, and ERP.
The work involves many recurring data and analysis tasks, which is why we are looking for someone who thrives in clear processes, good structures, and a high quality focus.
Qualifications:
• Academic degree in economics, preferably with elements of sustainability.
• Good experience working in Excel.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Desirable:
• Experience in analytical work, reporting, or working with sustainability data.
• Experience in controlling, external reporting, or working with sustainability issues.
• Courses or previous tasks in sustainability.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities and attitudes.
As a person, you are:
We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and has an easy time taking the initiative when something is unclear or needs to be investigated. You dare to ask questions, follow up on your tasks, and take responsibility for delivering on time.
It is particularly valuable if you:
• Have a good ability to plan your work and navigate between several parallel analyses.
• Appreciate both independent work and close collaboration with others.
• Thrive in an environment where data, structure, and accuracy are central.
What you get:
As an employee at Kommuninvest, you will be part of a company with a clear social mission – to finance sustainable development in Sweden's municipalities and regions. With us, you work in a knowledge-intensive environment where quality, responsibility, and collaboration permeate everything we do.
We offer competitive salaries, secure employment conditions, and favorable insurance and pension solutions according to collective agreements.
