We are now looking for a municipal lawyer for a fixed-term assignment.

Responsibilities

The Legal and Security Department is part of the Municipal Executive Office, working with strategic governance and management issues. We provide specialist support in law, preparedness, security, and information security for the entire municipal organization. Our legal expertise is gathered through municipal lawyers and a chief legal officer, and we work consultatively close to the administrations.

We are now looking for someone who will work as a legal expert primarily for the civil service organization. The tasks will be varied as you handle cases and, through your consultative role, provide support in a wide range of legal issues.

The position involves working in a multifaceted and exciting environment and requires the ability to quickly understand legal issues both broadly and in depth. This requires flexibility and independence. It is important that you, as a lawyer, actively follow legal developments and take the necessary initiatives to keep the municipality updated on the applicable regulations.

Qualifications

You have a law degree and experience in qualified legal work, preferably in a politically governed organization.

To succeed in this role, you have good knowledge of municipal and administrative law, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and you are communicative in both speech and writing.

You thrive in a consultative working style and have the ability to take initiative and work independently. You are analytical, efficient, and meticulous, with high integrity. As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and have good pedagogical skills.
