The assignment has a scope of approximately 60%. There may be a possibility for extension.

About the Assignment

The agency is facing a major system shift with the goal of implementing a new financial system by 2027. As a sub-project manager, you will play a key role in driving this change forward and ensuring effective, modern financial processes.

The assignment involves leading sub-projects and coordinating work between the agency, IT, and external suppliers. You are responsible for ensuring that the new system meets the agency's financial model, processes, and legal requirements.

Examples of Tasks:

• Lead and coordinate the work of integrating the new financial system with existing systems (e.g., UBW/Agresso, Pluto, Betina)
• Ensure functionality for invoicing, cash flows, currency management, and customer/supplier registers
• Ensure that the setup in the new system corresponds to the current financial model (chart of accounts, posting rules, S-codes, automatic postings, etc.)
• Create business-adapted reports and balance queries
• Document the components of the financial model in the new system
• Collaborate closely with relevant functions and suppliers to achieve the project's goals

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a strong background in financial management, accounting, and public finance, as well as documented experience with business systems and project management in the financial area. You are structured, analytical, and accustomed to communicating financial and technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

To qualify for the assignment, the following is required:

• Degree in Business Administration or Public Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in qualified financial management, accounting, auditing, or follow-up
• At least 2 years of experience in public financial management (preferably +5 years of experience)
• At least 2 years of experience with UBW/Agresso (preferably +5 years of experience)
• At least 3 years of experience in written reporting and the preparation of official documents (preferably +5 years of experience)
• At least 3 years of experience as an economic consultant or similar role within financial projects

In addition to the above, you must have two reference assignments with public authorities with over 300 employees.

Highly Desirable Competencies:

• More than 5 years of experience as an economic consultant in the public sector
• Experience as a financial manager or accounting manager
• Experience with the government accounting system Hermes
• Experience in independently driving projects or investigations within accounting and financial management
