Do you want to work at a preschool where your commitment and pedagogical skills really matter? We are now looking for a driven and warm educator for a long-term substitute position at Förskolan Tellus – with very good opportunities for extension.

About Förskolan Tellus

At Tellus, three educators work together with about 16 children. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for pedagogy, our view of children, and our desire to work as a co-researching educator.

We strive for a preschool where the days are characterized by joy, play, development, and learning. Each child is met as the unique individual they are, in an environment that sparks curiosity, inspires interaction, and offers many forms of expression.

Our activities are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which permeates our view of children, our approach to learning, and our choice of materials.

About us

We run small, personal preschools with smaller groups of children to create a safe atmosphere where both children and educators have space to grow. Here, everyone should feel seen, heard, and that they are an important part of the community.

In our preschools, we want to offer an educational, calming, and present environment – removed from the hustle and bustle of the city but full of opportunities to explore the world at one's own pace.

About the job responsibilities

Your role includes:

• Planning, implementing, and documenting the activities
• Following up and evaluating the work in relation to the curriculum and other governing documents
• Working closely with preschool teachers and the principal to develop the activities in line with the Reggio Emilia inspiration
• Contributing to a safe, creative, and exploratory environment for the children

• Puts children's development, needs, and interests at the center
• Wants to develop in your professional role and actively contributes to enhancing pedagogical quality
