Job Coach for Focus Future Youth
Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Stockholm is flourishing as the country's leading growth region. We work for a labor market where everyone can find their place – where employers find the right skills and where people get the opportunity to enter or return to working life. We support the journey of Stockholmers towards work or studies through labor market initiatives and adult education.
Welcome to us
The youth operations area, within Jobbtorg Stockholm, supports young people in finding, obtaining, and retaining studies or work.
The Focus Future Youth unit supports the target group of young people with a criminal lifestyle. We have our offices in Södermalm and Hammarby Sjöstad, but we meet our participants where they are located around Stockholm. With us, you will have colleagues with high competence and great commitment to the target group.
Our target group is young people aged 16-29 with various backgrounds, experiences, and conditions, but with the commonality that they are outside the labor market and have lived a criminal lifestyle or are at risk of falling into criminal contexts.
We offer
A workplace with active health work, wellness benefits with access to offers in a wellness portal, and vacation exchange.
Your role
As a job coach, you will work according to the Supported Employment (SE) method to support, motivate, and guide the target group to find, obtain, and retain a job or studies with the aim of becoming self-sufficient. SE is adapted for Jobbtorg Stockholm's operations. You will map and plan together with the aspirant.
A large part of your work involves contacting employers and matching the aspirant to the right workplace. You will seek out and find employers and support the aspirant and employers as needed. You will support participants in studies by creating the right support and collaborating with educational providers. You will use our internal and external initiatives in your work. You will work both independently and in a team. You will collaborate with colleagues within the organization but also with external actors and employers. You will continuously document in the existing operational system according to guidelines. The role requires high self-leadership, where you plan and structure your working hours based on the operations and participants. A significant part of the work involves meeting participants and employers where they are, which means daily travel within Stockholm.
Change and development work is a natural part of the workday and requires active participation.
