Business Developer at Bolagsverket
Bolagsverket is an authority in Sundsvall with over 600 employees working together for simpler and safer entrepreneurship. The government has given us several important assignments in digitalization and crime prevention. Would you like to join us?
Bolagsverket has recently strengthened its crime prevention efforts through a new department focusing on the agency's contribution to the collective societal work against economic crime. The department is currently in a phase of establishment where you can have the opportunity to help shape structures, working methods, and roles in an important and exciting development project.
The Crime Prevention Department is responsible for Bolagsverket's crime prevention work. This includes setting requirements for control systems in the rest of the organization to ensure quality and accuracy, managing and identifying deviations, and analyzing and addressing risks. In addition, the department is responsible for quality assurance and registration of company information.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a business developer who wants a challenge and to participate in the establishment of a completely new operation with significant societal benefit and high relevance.
Assignment
Bolagsverket has been tasked with establishing a service for coordinated register control in connection with public procurement, an area of great focus. The assignment aims to strengthen the conditions for purchasing organizations to control and exclude unscrupulous suppliers from public procurement.
The new operation and its associated IT support are to be established and fully implemented by 2028. As a business developer, you will play a key role in this development work from idea to finished service.
You will belong to the supplier control unit, which is responsible for the area, its establishment, and future operations. Currently, there are two other business developers in the area, and the unit is expected to grow with more roles in the coming years.
Your tasks
As a business developer, you are a central link between business issues, legislation, stakeholders, and IT development. You work closely with lawyers, architects, and security specialists and contribute to translating the needs of the business and legal requirements into functional solutions in our IT systems.
You will:
- actively participate in the work of developing the service and its associated IT support
- act as a link between business and IT in roles such as Product Manager and/or Product Owner.
- collaborate with scrum masters, requirements analysts, developers, and testers in agile teams
- contribute to investigations and analysis together with the unit's other business developers
- participate in cross-functional collaborations with other authorities and actors in public procurement

QUALIFICATIONS
We are now looking for someone who is solution-oriented, analytical, and likes to think outside the box. You are flexible and proactive and want to influence the operation. You work in a structured manner and thrive in a complex environment where legislation, technology, and business development meet. You have the ability to see the big picture while being able to drive your work forward in a stable and goal-oriented manner based on your assignment.
In this role, you need to have:
- an academic degree in a relevant field, e.g., computer science, information technology, or law, or equivalent knowledge/experience that can be assessed as equivalent
- several years of current experience in business development focusing on digital development or IT
- experience working closely with development teams, for example as a product owner or requirements setter
- experience with agile working methods and practices
- good technical understanding and the ability to grasp complex issues
- very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically to different target groups both orally and in writing
We consider it an advantage if you also have any of the following:
- post-secondary education in law
- experience in development work in collaboration with external stakeholders
- experience working under changing legal requirements
- experience leading assignments and projects
- experience developing new working methods
- experience in service design or similar design and development work with a focus on user experience
