Main Responsibilities
The Intelligence Office is responsible for gathering, processing, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence to support the government and the Armed Forces regarding external threats to Sweden and Swedish interests. The Intelligence Office has a range of different collection capabilities and maintains close cooperation with other defense intelligence agencies and intelligence functions within the Armed Forces.
Together with your colleagues, you will analyze the world by exploring open sources and various imagery, acquiring and adapting information, processing information, and pedagogically describing and explaining what has been processed. As a collection leader, you will be responsible for the joint effort to produce material in a timely manner for the right recipients, which is quality assured through ongoing dialogue with relevant clients. The collection leader also drives and manages the development of methods and processes to further enable the utility of the function. The tasks also include collaborating internally with other parts of the Armed Forces and externally with other authorities and international partners.
Requirements:
- Academic degree, officer's degree, or other experience deemed equivalent and relevant by the employer
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, critical approach to sources
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Good ability to describe processed information and conclusions
Desirable:
- Documented good leadership skills
- Experience leading analytical work
- Experience in military intelligence work
- Experience with processes in the Armed Forces Headquarters
- Experience in exercise planning
- Experience serving in a defense intelligence agency
- Experience developing operations as well as digital methods and processes
- Knowledge in GEOINT/IMINT/OSINT
- Knowledge of NATO
- Driver's license (B)

The qualifications mentioned above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests. Selection will be ongoing.
