Gavlegårdarna works every day to create safe, attractive, and sustainable homes. Currently, nearly 30,000 residents of Gävle live with them. By continuously renovating their properties, building more apartments, creating green outdoor environments, and actively working with collaborations and social initiatives, they take the trust their tenants give them seriously. The customer service team at Gavlegårdarna consists of 16 customer service representatives. You will be part of a group that works with meetings with tenants and housing seekers in reception, phone, and chat functions.
The position starts early in January 2026 and the assignment extends to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Working hours will be scheduled according to 7-15:30 or 7:30-16:00, and all work takes place on-site.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role, you will have daily contact with Gavlegårdarna's customers and will staff the reception, phone, and chat. It is a varied job where you will provide top-class service to Gavlegårdarna's customers. As a customer service representative, you will receive inquiries and handle them according to the company's processes and routines.
Your job responsibilities will include:
- Answering general questions about rentals and applying for housing
- Receiving inquiries from tenants, housing seekers, and other stakeholders
- Receiving maintenance requests and providing status information on ongoing cases
- Key and tag management
- Payment matters, such as rent payments, maintenance, and optional orders
- Writing contracts for vehicle spaces and storage
- Terminations of housing, vehicle spaces, and storage
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a high school education or equivalent experience that we consider comparable
- Has a B driver's license
- Has good data and system skills
- Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English as the job requires it
It is meritorious if you have:
- Previous experience working in customer service
- Experience in the housing industry
Since you will have a lot of contact with our tenants via phone and email, we want you to be good at communicating, listening, and showing empathy in meetings regardless of how it occurs. As a person, you radiate joy, simplicity, and engagement in customer interactions. To succeed in the role, you are also open and positive and enjoy working in a team. You thrive on working with responsibility and can independently see what work needs to be done.
