As we continue to expand significantly across markets and channels, we are now looking for an entry-level Business Controller with 1-3 years of experience who is seeking new challenges for our Controlling team that will drive data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

About the role

As a Business Controller at ICANIWILL, you will support the company's financial planning and operational performance. Your focus will be on purchasing planning, sales analysis, and contributing to the monthly closing process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.

You will work closely with the purchasing and operations team to provide valuable insights, challenge assumptions, and support both strategic and operational decisions. You will belong to a controlling function of three people and report to our Senior Business Controller.

Main responsibilities

•  Develop forward-looking purchasing and inventory plans in close collaboration with our purchasing controller and the purchasing team

•  Analyze sales results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making

•  Support the monthly closing process, including preparation and analysis of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow report

•  Contribute to forecasts, budgeting, and long-term financial planning

•  Create and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs

•  Prepare ad hoc analyses and decision-making materials for management and other departments

•  Act as a financial partner to internal stakeholders in the organization

About you

We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in finance work with a focus on analysis. You may have worked in a broad finance function at a smaller or medium-sized company, started your career in controlling right after graduation, or currently work in auditing for growth companies and want to take the next step towards a more analytical and business-oriented controller role.

We are looking for someone who is very strong in Excel and has a great interest in digital tools and Business Intelligence. 

•  Experience from retail or e-commerce is highly desirable

•  Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights

•  Good understanding of financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)

•  Very good skills in Excel 

•  Experience with Power BI and financial modeling is highly desirable

About the employment

The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with a start date as soon as possible. A probationary period applies. ICANIWILL is located in newly renovated premises in central Stockholm, and there is a free gym in the building.
