Substitute Preschool Assistant in Österåker

We are looking for someone who wants to substitute in our unit from January until the summer of 2026. The unit consists of the preschools Luffarbacken, Luna, and Tuna, which are located at four addresses, and we have preschool teachers, childcare workers, chefs, and kitchen assistants working with us. The management consists of a principal and an assistant principal, and our preschools are responsible for education and care for approximately 300 children.

Your New Job

We are looking for someone with experience working in a preschool. You will contribute to creating a positive and developing environment for each child and for the entire group of children. You will be part of a team with a preschool teacher and a childcare worker. The work is done through collaboration based on our different roles and responsibilities in the pedagogical development work according to current governing documents and the unit goals we formulate.

In our organization, we want to create good continuity and safety for the children. Therefore, it is important that you, as a childcare worker, start from the children's needs and interests, as this forms the basis for the team's planning and implementation of the systematic quality work of the education. To make children's learning processes visible, we systematically work with documentation in the tool Unikum.

Your Profile

You have a high school education in care, child and leisure, or another education that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the position, you need to have a good understanding of and command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We want you to contribute with professionalism, engagement, creativity, and a positive spirit. You meet each child with respect and attentiveness. Of course, you also have a professional approach in your work for good relationships with colleagues and guardians.
