Welcome to Dibber
We have an important role and want you to be a part of it!
At Dibber, we have a heart for learning. This means we are passionate about giving every child and student the best conditions for developing a lifelong love of learning with a heart for the world. Our Heart Culture is the core of our entire operation, influencing relationships with children and students, guardians, and among colleagues. The Heart Culture should guide us in every situation.
We are now looking for a secure and engaged resource for a student in primary school. The position is a shared role where you will work as a resource in the classroom and at after-school care in the afternoon. You need to have experience working as a resource in schools previously. Experience in after-school care is a plus.
With us, you will contribute to ensuring that the student has a positive, meaningful, and developing working environment. You will work closely with both the classroom teacher and after-school educators and collaborate closely with them for the student’s best interest.
Our facility is located in Silverdal, in southern Sollentuna, about 15 minutes from Stockholm Central by commuter train, with good bus connections as well. The unit offers unique and inspiring premises as well as a lovely and play-friendly yard, well adapted to children's different needs. We are close to nature and have a pond where we can explore life in water or skate in winter. At Silverbäcken, students can start at the age of six and continue all the way to grade 9.
We have a wonderful atmosphere and actively work to give all employees the opportunity for influence and participation.
We also use the forest as a classroom and have built a good structure around our outdoor activities so that it is easy to go outside and have lessons. We are continuously recruiting.
Welcome to submit your application!

Job Responsibilities
Your tasks will involve supporting, guiding, and mentoring a student with special needs. Training the student in various social situations and helping to prevent incidents where the student may become distressed is also a significant part of your work. In the afternoons, you will work at after-school care with students from grades F-3. It is important that you enjoy being outdoors; an interest in forests and land is a plus, as we work a lot with outdoor pedagogy, both in the morning and afternoon, year-round, both on the schoolyard and in the nearby forest.
The position is 100% and permanent, with a 6-month probationary period.
Qualifications
You will work with the classroom teacher to create a schedule for work both inside and outside the classroom tailored for the student. Experience working with visual support and adapted schedules is a plus. The work at the after-school center is planned together with trained after-school teachers and other childcare workers. The schedule may include both opening and closing shifts.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who:
- Has several years of experience working with children with special needs in schools
- Is secure in themselves
- Is familiar with and can apply low-arousal approaches
- Is open to feedback
- Is interested in trying different working methods.
- Can communicate with people from various backgrounds and life situations.
