The Social Administration has a broad area of responsibility that includes regulatory activities and preventive measures, with a reception and investigation unit, outpatient care, family law, financial assistance, and an operational unit working with preventive measures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of labor market officer, you will support, motivate, and guide young people and young adults to seek, obtain, and retain a job, internship, or studies with the aim of becoming self-sufficient. Together with the individual, you will map, plan, and match according to their conditions, needs, and wishes.

The work involves employer contacts where you build an employer network to create conditions for matching individuals to the right workplace. You will support the individual and employers as needed. Change and development work is a natural part of the workday and requires active participation. You will work both independently and in teams, collaborating with colleagues within the unit as well as with external actors and employers.

The target group is young people and young adults aged 16-24 with various backgrounds, experiences, and conditions, but with the commonality that they are outside the labor market and/or lack employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your skills and experience

  • Academic education with a focus on social work, behavioral science, social studies, sociology, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with people who are far from the labor market.
  • Experience working with employer contacts/working with the business sector.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English is also an advantage.

As a person, you are goal-oriented and work effectively to achieve set goals in a qualitative manner. You enjoy working at a fast pace and quickly find solutions to emerging problems. You thrive in a job where no two days are alike and you work well both independently and in a group.

Furthermore, you are relationship-building, unpretentious, and comfortable in meeting others. You also find it easy to make contacts and maintain relationships.
