About the position

As the Head of Technical Management, you will be responsible for leading, distributing, and developing the work within technical management in your business area. You will ensure that the property portfolio maintains and develops a good physical and technical standard as well as cost-effective operation and maintenance. You will lead a team of eight technical managers and also have the Operations Manager of the business area reporting to you.

You will have close cooperation with the Head of Commercial Management in your business area, and together you will coordinate the work between the two functions. You will be based at Castellum Väst's headquarters in central Gothenburg and work in a property portfolio that also includes southern Gothenburg to Kungsbacka and Borås. You will report to the Business Area Manager.

In the role of Head of Technical Management, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for work management and coordination of the work for technical management as well as personnel and work environment responsibilities within the relevant business area.
• Responsible for the business area's cost and operational budget, follow-up, and financial goals.
• Ensure operational optimizations, prepare decision-making materials for energy-improving measures, and ensure that follow-up occurs within the business area.
• Responsible for ensuring that energy-saving goals are followed up and planning necessary measures to achieve the goals.
• Responsible for developing long-term maintenance plans within the business area.

We are looking for someone who has

a university degree or equivalent university credits in the property field or other relevant education and/or relevant work experience in property management. We see that you have experience working with business-related issues related to technical property management and that you have good market knowledge. You have knowledge in property economics, budget work, rental legislation, negotiation, and contract law. We consider it a strong merit if you have previously been a manager and have experience leading personnel. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license (B).
