Do you want to make a difference for people in need of support and help?
Gagnef Municipality is looking for an employee for social welfare case management primarily for cases under the Social Services Act (SoL), but the position may involve supporting and managing cases under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) as needed.

With us, you will be part of a team consisting of six social welfare officers. Our work environment is characterized by supporting, strengthening, and developing each other in our profession. As part of the social welfare officer group in Gagnef Municipality, you will belong to a workplace with a strong focus on development issues to meet today’s and tomorrow’s citizens.
We have begun our work on transitioning to the new Social Services Act. We have a project manager to support the work with the new social services law. We have also hired a welfare technician who will start their employment at the turn of the year.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is confident in meeting both individuals and in collaborative meetings with different professionals. You have the ability to handle unpredictable situations, remain calm under pressure, and make well-founded decisions.
The work involves many contacts with various partners, which requires attentiveness and a courteous, professional approach. You are a confident person and thrive with responsibility, where you independently plan and prioritize your tasks based on current circumstances. At the same time, you value close collaboration with colleagues.
We are looking for someone with a university degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in public authority operations and are well aware of what the role entails. Furthermore, you should have good knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations, good communication skills, and be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish, as well as have good computer skills. A B driver's license is required for the position.
Conditions
The position is 100% and permanent, with a probationary period possible under special circumstances. Start date by agreement. Interviews may take place during the application period.
