Business Description:

Dormsjöskolan is a residential care home (HVB) for boys aged 7-23 years.

We are located in Southern Dalarna, just north of Hedemora, and have our own free school. Here, children and adolescents live in five beautifully situated houses, near a lovely swimming lake and exciting forests. There are opportunities for fun activities and quiet moments, as well as adults to lean on.

Target Group:

Boys with neuropsychiatric disabilities as well as social and emotional issues.

We have a permit for 28 children/adolescents, and the permit includes placements supported by SoL, LVU, and LSS.

Job Description:

You will work alone, and sleeping night staff will be present in the house. Cleaning according to a schedule and preparation for breakfast. You will participate in morning work and have medication delegation.

We are looking for someone who is creative, enjoys physical activity, is passionate about working with children and adolescents with special needs, and is good at building trusting and positive relationships.

The job requires you to be secure, solution-focused, stress-resistant, and have great patience. You need to express yourself well in writing as documentation is part of the job.

Education: A degree in social work/educational treatment or another equivalent qualification is desirable.

Upon potential employment, a criminal record check is required.
