Azalea Care is looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for one of our customers, a man in his 50s living in Mora.

The man is wheelchair-bound and communicates without any problems. As his personal assistant, you will assist him with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, training, household chores, etc. Your workplace is wherever the man is, either at home or outside.

He is interested in sports, fishing, and cooking.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and positive. You are attentive to the man's needs and wishes. It is important that you are confident in yourself, have good collaboration skills, and are meticulous in carrying out your tasks.

Working hours: you will work shifts with 5 hours of on-call time at night.

The man has teenage children who often come to visit him, and there is a cat in the home.

Previous experience in work or education within care and support is an advantage but not a requirement, as personal chemistry is the most important.

Introduction will take place as soon as we find the right candidate.

Working as a personal assistant can look very different depending on the type of disability the customer has, just as we are all different individuals regardless of whether we have a disability or not. As a personal assistant, you compensate for what the customer cannot do themselves, so that they can live like others to the greatest extent possible. Working in another person's home places high demands on you as an assistant, and there may also be a family to consider. It is essential to have a sense of how the customer wants things in different situations.
