Job Responsibilities

As a test equipment technician at Saab Training & Simulation, you will work in a team to build and ensure reliable test equipment that supports the development and production of advanced systems. The work involves assembly, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of test equipment with associated adapters. You will also be responsible for creating and updating instructions and other technical documentation.

The role requires high accuracy, practical ability, and a strong technical interest. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in various roles to ensure high quality and functionality in our solutions. In addition to the practical work, you will also contribute to improving and streamlining our working methods in the department.

Your Profile

We believe that you who are applying have a high school education in electrical/telecommunications, automation, or a corresponding technical field. You have a good ability to read electrical diagrams, experience in soldering, and feel comfortable working with computers. The role requires you to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good knowledge of English. It is an advantage if you have certification in soldering or experience with IFS business systems and PLM environments with product structures. Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or NX is also a plus.
