IKG is a technical consulting company that works with product development companies across various industries. We started in 1990 in Västerås and today we are located in ten different locations: Gothenburg, Malmö, Jönköping, Linköping, Växjö, Örebro, Västerås, Järfälla, Borlänge, and Ludvika. IKG sees a strong demand for both junior and experienced test and verification engineers across various industries and specializations. You will be responsible for testing and verifying various components, complete systems, or entire products. To succeed in this role, you need to have knowledge and understanding of requirements, different testing methods, test specifications, testing, analysis, presentation, documentation, and report writing. Testing and verification can be performed both in various test rigs or in the actual usage area of the product. The job also includes planning and securing test materials, allocating testing equipment, and developing methods to create better and more efficient testing methods that yield reliable results.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent
• Preferably a few years of experience as a test engineer in either mechanical testing, systems and software, or electronics
• Experience in writing test specifications and test cases for verification of requirements and functions
• Experience in documenting, analyzing, and presenting test results
• Technically skilled
• Familiar with working with testing equipment, measurement systems, signal processing, and reporting systems
• Accustomed to collaborating with many different departments and functions
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship is required due to collaboration with companies in the defense industry

Desirable:

• Drive and interest in developing testing methods and testing environments
• Diverse experience from various industries and products
• Knowledge and experience in agile methods
