Then the role of field service engineer at ABB Drive Systems Service could be the next step for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology and contribute to keeping Swedish industry and critical infrastructure running, while also developing your troubleshooting and repair skills.

As a field service engineer, you will work with ABB’s frequency converters, inverters, and similar products at our customers' sites. Your tasks will span a wide spectrum and include troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance, as well as lifecycle analyses, modernization, and equipment replacement. The role is dynamic and varied, allowing you to combine independent work with collaboration with both colleagues and customers. Your contribution is crucial to maximizing the value of our services and products, which play a central role in keeping Sweden running. Your responsibilities include:

• Prioritizing safety in everything you do and contributing by reporting any risks or incidents.
• Delivering our services with precision and high quality to ensure satisfied customers and long-term results.
• Creating and maintaining good relationships both internally and externally through a professional and positive approach.
• Actively contributing to improvement efforts and helping us develop and become even better.
• Seizing the opportunity to, over time, become part of our emergency response team and further strengthen our team.
• Staying curious and continuing to develop your technical skills to always stay one step ahead.

Qualifications for the role

• You have completed a technical high school education in electrical engineering or a university degree in engineering.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within the industry and/or experience in installation work – certification as an electrical installer is an advantage.
• You are responsible, take initiative, and enjoy working independently.
• You have a valid driver's license (B). The position requires travel, mainly day trips but sometimes overnight stays.
• You are comfortable working in digital environments.
• You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Your flexibility and willingness to travel as needed, even outside regular working hours, make you a valuable asset for our customers' needs.
