Now Aquajet is looking for a Quality Manager who wants to take a comprehensive approach to quality work in a technical business with high ambitions. The company is in a positive development phase and now wants to strengthen its team with a person who can take responsibility for ensuring quality throughout the chain – from suppliers and incoming materials to in-house production and finished products.

About the position

As a Quality Manager at Aquajet, you will have overall responsibility for monitoring and ensuring quality throughout the flow – from the supplier chain to production and delivery. You will work closely with colleagues in design, production, purchasing, and management to ensure that both products and processes meet high standards.

You will drive improvement work, manage quality deviations, support the organization in quality issues, and act as a technical requirement setter both internally and externally. The role suits you if you thrive in a technical context, are used to taking initiative, and want to contribute to building a long-term strong quality culture.

Job Description

  • Evaluate, qualify, and approve new suppliers through audits and quality assessments together with purchasing.
  • Drive quality improvements together with purchasing and engineering.
  • Register and manage deviations and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate quality requirements, technical specifications, and standards with suppliers and the design department.
  • Follow up and verify implemented improvements.
  • Be able to initiate new detailed solutions and assess critical points with suppliers to prevent deviations from the start.
  • Support production and development teams with quality issues.

We are looking for someone who

has the following experience and skills:

  • Experience in quality work within industry and manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of quality methods such as 8D.
  • Experience in supplier evaluation.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings such as assembly drawings, machining drawings, and welding drawings. Technical specifications and standards.
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Good understanding of various manufacturing techniques and how to best implement these with suitable suppliers.

If you also have experience working with the business system Monitor, it is a merit.

You are a structured and analytical person with the ability to collaborate broadly, both internally and externally. You have the drive to solve problems, can be clear in quality issues, and enjoy driving improvement work forward.
