We are looking for a lab engineer who wants to work with testing and verification of handheld products at one of our partners in Huskvarna. You will follow the products from the prototype stage to the final solution and test the entire product to ensure functionality, durability, and performance.

This is a temporary position where you will work in a team with high technical engagement and good camaraderie. The work is varied, involving both practical and analytical tasks as well as testing in the lab and in the field. For those who enjoy tinkering, repairing, and working systematically with test data, this role offers a stimulating and developing everyday life.

As a lab engineer, you will work with clear priorities planned and distributed by the group manager. The work primarily involves testing complete gasoline products but may also include prototypes and component levels. The testing environments vary between labs, long-term testing, and different field environments.

Key responsibilities: 

• Conduct testing of complete products, prototypes, and components – including strength and functionality testing as well as long-term runs.
• Perform field tests in various environments and practically use the products to evaluate their properties.
• Work with data collection, statistical analysis, method development, and measurement system analysis.
• Document results and report the technical characteristics of products in relevant systems. 
• The work can shift quickly depending on project needs and priorities. Tests can be repetitive or long-term depending on the nature of the issues and analysis needs, requiring a problem-solving and curious approach.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, for example, mechanical engineering or product development; YH education or equivalent relevant work experience may also be applicable.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience in testing or previous work as a testing engineer is a plus. Interest in mechanics, automotive knowledge, or experience with two-stroke engines is also advantageous and valuable in this role. You are social, open, and enjoy having many points of contact. You collaborate well in teams and see the value in compromising when multiple perspectives need to be considered. A strong technical interest and a desire to tinker, test, and understand products in depth are central. The role suits those who are curious, practically oriented, and have an easy time communicating both in the lab and in contact with other functions.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, temporary

Start: January 26 or no later than February 1, 2026, until September 30, 2026
