Eltel is investing in the solar energy sector and we are now expanding our team with a technical designer/engineer based in Värnamo or Bromma/Stockholm.

What will my responsibilities be?

As a technical designer/engineer with us, you will be a key person working at the forefront of technology development within the Utility segment. You will be the one to develop - and visualize - the best and most efficient solution for our customer.

You will:

• Develop and compare layouts for solar and BESS facilities focusing on both Capex and energy production.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and business developers to find the best solution for each project.
• Participate in the development of revenue models and conduct advanced simulations for hybrid parks where solar, BESS, wind, and other energy sources are combined.
• Contribute to maximizing the benefits for the power grid and the customer's business model.

You will collaborate closely with our solar energy product manager, Pär, who has deep knowledge in the field. The location is flexible, but preferably near Pär who is based in Värnamo, or alternatively in Bromma.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A master's degree or bachelor's degree in energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
• Experience in design and layout work for solar power plants and/or BESS.
• Knowledge of software such as PVCase, PVsyst, or similar design and simulation tools.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience with hybrid solutions in solar/BESS/wind power as well as an understanding of revenue models and the dynamics of the energy market.

As a person, you are analytical and have a good understanding of both technical and economic aspects of energy projects. You are independent and driven, and you are not afraid to challenge to find new innovative solutions without causing conflict.
