Skotte AB is a Småland-based company with international operations. The business area Skotte Components delivers customized metal components to customers in various industries. We are a growing company that focuses on quality, long-term relationships, and efficient processes.

Skotte is now looking for a Project and Quality Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for projects and quality throughout the value chain – from business and customer requirements to delivered product.

In this role, you will ensure that our internal processes, suppliers, and products meet the right quality, on time.

You will be a key person in the interface between business, technology, suppliers, and customers, with a significant mandate to drive improvements and develop our quality work.

Main Responsibilities

Requirement Translation

• Translate business and customer requirements into clear technical specifications
• Ensure that requirements are communicated and understood by internal teams and suppliers

Supplier Quality

• Ensure that suppliers meet agreed quality as well as Skotte's procedures and standards
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and reviews
• Drive supplier development as needed

Project Management

• Lead and coordinate projects within quality and product development
• Be responsible for the initiation of new projects and new items
• Follow up on existing items and initiate improvement actions
• Moderate and drive APQP meetings (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
• Ensure that QA processes and quality routines are followed by both Skotte and suppliers

Quality Systems and Documentation

• Write, update, and manage quality documentation towards customers and suppliers
• Ensure that project deliveries meet applicable requirements and standards
• Participate in and assist with internal and external audits according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Manage customer audits and reviews

Measuring Equipment and Control

• Be responsible for the calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment
• Ensure correct use and traceability of measurement methods

Risk Management

• Identify quality and delivery risks
• Develop, follow up, and implement risk management plans

Deviations and Complaints

• Manage deviations and drive root cause analyses
• Lead and follow up on complaint cases with customers and suppliers
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented

Sustainability

• Contribute to Skotte's sustainability work through quality-assured and sustainable processes

Qualifications

• Experience in quality work within industry, manufacturing, trading, or product development
• Good knowledge of quality systems and audits, preferably ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Experience in supplier quality, deviation management, and improvement work
• Meritorious with experience in APQP, QA processes, and project management
• Ability to work structured, independently, and solution-oriented
