Laboratory Engineer at Husqvarna

Responsibilities as a Laboratory Engineer

As a laboratory engineer at Husqvarna, you will be a key person in the company's testing and verification operations. The department works with both battery and gasoline-powered products, testing everything from chainsaws and leaf blowers to advanced battery systems. Here, you will work in an environment where technology, data, analysis, and practical testing meet in a varied and challenging everyday life.

Examples of responsibilities:

Plan, conduct, and document lab tests on handheld products
Set up, calibrate, and adjust test rigs and measuring equipment
Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional tests in both lab and field
Analyze results and provide feedback to R&D, verification, and development teams
Participate in improvement work regarding methods, processes, and test environments
Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the lab

In the role of Laboratory Engineer, we are looking for someone who has:

Post-secondary education in engineering, such as mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent
Practical experience from industry, testing, lab work, or workshop
Good ability to handle and understand technical systems and measuring equipment
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Driving license B

It is an advantage if you have:

Experience in testing machines or products
Experience with battery technology or combustion engines
Familiarity with data collection, measurements, or testing methodology
Experience from product development or electrified systems
