About the Role as Lead Geotechnical Engineer

As a geotechnical engineer at Tyréns, you will be involved in exciting and varied projects where you will follow the entire chain – from field investigations to finished reports. You will work closely with colleagues, clients, and other technical areas, playing an important role in building the infrastructure of the future.

Your tasks will include:

Planning fieldwork with drilling rigs
Analyzing geotechnical investigations
Administering risk analyses
Producing drawings in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and managing drilling data
Compiling geotechnical investigation reports
Working on slope stability calculations, settlements, etc.
Participating in client meetings and collaborating with colleagues in various technical fields

As a newcomer in the role, you will receive a solid introduction where you will initially accompany fieldwork to understand the practical work. You will get real tasks early on and be supported by experienced colleagues.

In the position of Lead Geotechnical Engineer, we are looking for someone who has:

Mandatory Requirements

Civil engineering degree with a focus on road & water
Driver's license B
Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Good knowledge of English in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you have:

Project or thesis work in geotechnics
Experience or knowledge in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
Knowledge of ArcGIS software
Interest in economics and project management in the long run
