e-motions is in an exciting phase of development and is now looking for two experienced and dedicated Automation Mechanics to join our growing team.

We have recently moved into newly built premises that provide us with even better conditions to further develop our operations. The facilities are designed for us to build, assemble, and test our systems on-site before delivery to the customer, which creates high quality, more efficient projects, and a clear connection between the workshop and the end customer. And this is where you come in.

About the role

Your primary workplace is in our workshop, where you work on the construction, assembly, and compilation of machines and automation solutions. You build mechanical structures, assemble standard products, and combine them into complete systems and finished installations. A large part of the work consists of pre-construction of machines, such as DWS houses, Sorting, Packing Machines, and in some cases storage solutions, which are built and tested on-site before delivery to the customer.

During the installation phase of projects, you will also be involved at the customer’s site. You will work together with both e-motions technicians and collaborating partners, where you collectively are responsible for installation, assembly, connection, and commissioning. The work is carried out in close cooperation between mechanics, electrical, and automation, with a clear team focus and a common goal – to ensure that the installation is carried out as smoothly, efficiently, and qualitatively as possible.

Your technical competence

We believe you have a technical education background, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or automation fields. However, the most important thing for us is your practical experience and your ability to work independently in the workshop and projects. You have worked closely with machines and automation solutions and feel comfortable with both mechanical and electrical tasks.

In this role, you will utilize your skills in:

• Mechanical assembly of machines and automation solutions
• 
  
• Working with linear guides, bearings, pneumatics, belt drives, motors, and mechanical drives
• 
  
• Electrical assembly, including construction and connection of control cabinets and junction boxes
• 
  
• Reading and interpreting drawings, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation
• 
  
• Troubleshooting in both mechanics and electrical
• 
  
• Installation, weighing, measuring, and electrical work in our equipment for both larger systems and individual machines
• 
  
• Participation in installations, renovations, and commissioning at the customer as part of a project team

· Location: Jönköping, Stigamo

· Permanent employment, full-time. We always apply a probationary period for all positions.

· The role primarily involves work in the workshop, with travel in connection with installations at the customer. Travel occurs both within Sweden and internationally as needed.
