Your Role

At Saab, we are expanding and are therefore looking for several skilled individuals who want to influence what future training systems will look like! Saab Training & Simulation (T&S) is a world leader in advanced military training equipment. By combining various technologies such as optronics, electronics, radio, image processing, and mechanics, we design user-friendly systems with high training effectiveness.

In the role of electronics designer with us, you will be able to test the limits of what modern technology can achieve and help develop constructions used in extreme environments. In your work, you will be involved in various types of customer and development projects, where you will also have the opportunity to be out with customers and verify the systems on-site. Together with experienced designers, you will work broadly with both analog and digital, wired and wireless systems, as well as technology selection, system design, CAD, testing, verification, and documentation.

You will be part of a comprehensive department with a strong focus on electronics. The team is cohesive and responsible for developing and maintaining the company's electronic designs, and as training needs in the world change, we develop new features. Your Profile

If you have a strong interest in electronics and are a curious person who wants to learn, this is the position for you. We believe you thrive on taking initiative and responsibility while being trustworthy and appreciating good collaboration. We also believe you have your own drive and approach your tasks in a structured manner.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have:

A Master's degree in engineering or a qualified engineering degree in electronics or equivalent
Knowledge in digital and analog design
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

For the position, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of RF, such as WiFi or Bluetooth. It is also beneficial if you have experience with low-power designs and battery applications, as well as knowledge of FPGA design and programming of embedded systems.
