About the Role

As a tool technician, you will work in the manufacturing industry to create, repair, and maintain the tools and molds used in production. These tools are crucial for manufacturing products with high demands for precision and quality. The work is carried out in close collaboration with production engineers and operators to ensure that technical specifications are met. The role is both independent and team-oriented, and you will play an important part in developing and improving processes. Working hours vary depending on the department and may include daytime, two-shift, or night work, which requires flexibility regarding shift patterns. The position is a full-time consultancy assignment located in Huskvarna.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Renovation, maintenance, and repair
  • Technical problem-solving and improvement work
  • Manufacturing and processing of precision tools
  • Documentation and reporting of completed work

About You

We are looking for someone with experience as a tool technician, tool maker, maintenance technician, or equivalent. You have a good technical understanding and enjoy working independently. You also have experience handling advanced tools and machine components. The role requires precision, the ability to read blueprints, and patience, as tolerances are often small and details are many. As a person, you are methodical, practically minded, technically interested, and solution-oriented. You handle stress well and take responsibility for your work.

For the position, it is important that you have:

  • Education in tool technology or equivalent work experience
  • Good technical understanding and experience working from blueprints
  • Ability to work independently with great responsibility
  • Meticulous work approach and strong quality focus
  • Swedish spoken and written, basic English
  • Desirable: forklift and overhead crane licenses
