Test Engineer at Husqvarna

ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is now looking for a driven and self-sufficient test engineer with a practical interest for Husqvarna's Residential division. Your main tasks will involve working with design and functional testing. You will also have coordination responsibilities towards surrounding functions, such as specialist functions within various projects. In addition, you will work on developing test methods and supporting the entire R&D. As a test engineer, your role is to ensure that Husqvarna's products are suitable for use by their customers. This includes mechanical work with products, running products in long-term testing and in the field, statistical analysis, measurement system analysis, and development of test methods and data collection methods. You will also be responsible for measurement and verification, design and construction of fixtures and rigs, as well as reporting on the technical properties of products and technical documentation. Field testing is another important part of your role. This may include field testing in Sweden, but also sometimes abroad. You can expect varied and exciting tasks that will challenge and develop your skills as a test engineer.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed a technical post-secondary education
• Possesses equivalent knowledge from work experience, preferably within electronics/mechanics
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, as it is required in daily work with colleagues
• Has an interest in hands-on work for investigative purposes combined with theoretical work

It is advantageous if you have experience with certification tests or working with workshop machines such as milling machines or lathes.
