About the Assignment

We are now looking for a mid-level Mechanical Engineer for an assignment in product development. You will work in a small and flexible team focused on developing new products, where you will play a central role in ensuring quality, functionality, and delivery.

The assignment suits you who thrive in a practical and technical role, where close collaboration with other functions and suppliers is a natural part of everyday life.

Responsibilities

In the role of Mechanical Engineer, you will among other things:

• Plan and structure your work independently to ensure high-quality deliveries on time
• Work with mechanical design related to new product projects
• Collaborate with other functions such as labs, purchasing, and suppliers
• Work closely with testing and lab operations to evaluate prototypes and test results
• Ensure quality and a good customer experience throughout the development process
• Contribute to the development and improvement of future products

Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role
• Very good knowledge of Catia V5
• Experience in steel and plastic design
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Knowledge or understanding of mechatronics or electronics
