As an engineer in embedded systems at IKG, you will work on the design, development, and implementation of solutions for both hardware and software in embedded systems. You will be involved in the entire process – from requirements analysis and architecture design to implementation and verification. Your role also includes developing test methods and working on quality assurance of the systems, both at the component level and the system level. The work is done in close collaboration with both customers and other technical teams.

You will be an important part of the development of products used in a variety of industries and on many exciting projects. Your work will be both challenging and varied, with great opportunities for skills development in advanced embedded systems and new technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• Experience in developing embedded systems, both hardware and software
• Experience with one or more of the following: C/C++ and/or C# for embedded systems, real-time operating systems such as Linux/OSE, model-based development, and scripting
• Good understanding of the interaction between electronics, software, and real-time requirements
• Experience designing and implementing test strategies for embedded systems
• Technically proficient and experienced in working with test equipment, measurement systems, and verification
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship is required due to collaboration with companies in the defense industry

Meritorious:

• Experience working with microcontrollers or FPGAs
• Knowledge of hardware and software architecture
• Experience with agile working methods
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and methods
