We are now looking for a mechanical designer for an exciting consulting assignment in the development of professional tools.

The Challenge

You will be part of a design team that develops and designs mechanical products and components with a focus on functionality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. The work is done in CATIA V5.

• Design injection-molded plastic parts and components in lightweight metals.
• Participate in early strength assessments to ensure that the designs meet all requirements.
• Prepare drawing documentation and communicate manufacturing and assembly requirements to suppliers and production.
• Analyze various design alternatives and contribute improvement suggestions.
• Manage smaller work packages with a focus on cost optimization and efficiency.
• Be responsible for product maintenance.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of CATIA V5 and preferably experience working in Smarteam. You have documented experience in designing injection-molded plastic parts and are accustomed to working with requirements for manufacturing and assembly. Since the assignment is location-bound, you must also be able to work full-time on-site in Småland.
