About us

Breddenskolan is a municipal F-5 school with 310 students and 40 staff members. The school is located in eastern Upplands Väsby, close to nature and culture. The outdoor learning environment is very varied, and there are large areas for both play and learning.

About the position

The position involves planning, implementation, and follow-up together with colleagues in an after school program department. During the school day, you will collaborate in a class. Working as a teacher in the after school program means communicating with colleagues, students, and guardians. It also means that you will be involved in planning for both students' learning and social development.

Working with promoting and preventive value-based work and leading recess activities is part of the job responsibilities. You will be part of the school's development group for the various after school program departments. You will also help lead the pedagogical conferences for the after school staff.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree as an elementary teacher in after school programs.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from working in schools or similar positions.

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to create and maintain professional and trustworthy relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and management. You have a high communicative and interactive ability, are socially perceptive, and have a high motivation for your profession. Furthermore, we also see that you have the ability for self-reflection and analysis. As a person, you are structured by being well-informed and well-prepared. Additionally, you are collaborative and solution-focused.
