Ekerö Swimming Hall

Ekerö Swimming Hall opened its doors in June 2023 and is a modern facility focused on the health of the citizens, offering space for exercise, recreation, play, and training. Ekerö Swimming Hall is part of the sports facilities and leisure unit, where we work to create conditions for all Ekerö residents to be physically active. Job Description

We are looking for swimming instructors and crawl instructors!

Do you want to inspire and develop people in the water? We are now seeking engaged swimming instructors for children aged 5–15 years and crawl instructors for youth and adults.

• Swimming Instructor: You will teach children basic swimming skills according to SLS’s pedagogical guidelines. The focus is on water safety, security, and swimming technique.
• Crawl Instructor: You will lead courses for youth and adults who want to learn to crawl or improve their crawl technique, providing individual feedback and technical exercises.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has training as a swimming instructor from SLS, the Swedish Swimming Federation, or equivalent.
• Is confident in the water and has good pedagogical skills.
• Is positive, responsible, and enjoys working with people.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in teaching swimming.
• Life-saving and CPR training.

Start Date: As soon as agreed
Working Hours: Evenings and weekends.
Extent: One or more shifts per week lasting between 2-6 hours/occasion
Employment Type: Hourly employment
