Are you a technician or engineer with curiosity, drive, and a strong interest in technology, production, and development?

At PartnerTech Innovation, you will have the chance to be involved from the start, influence the direction, build processes, and develop alongside the business. This is a new role in a growing company, where you will have a central place in the establishment phase of the initiative.

We are looking for a Prototype Technician with both technical skills and an analytical mind. You will be a key person in the development of future products and manufacturing processes, focusing on operation, optimization, and development of their processes and machines for prototype manufacturing.

The role combines practical work with technical responsibility and is suitable for you who enjoy switching between the workshop floor and the office. You will be part of a small, competent team that is building the business from the ground up, where your expertise makes a real difference.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of processes and machines for prototype manufacturing
• Programming and setting up machines
• Manufacturing articles according to drawings and specifications

Secondary responsibilities:

• Contribute to knowledge building regarding manufacturing methods and processes within your area of responsibility
• Share experiences and insights to improve workflows and methods
• Participate in documentation and preparation of manufacturing processes, including planning and purchasing
• Engage in market monitoring, for example through technology fairs and customer dialogues

We are looking for someone who:

• Is meticulous, solution-oriented, a team player, and enjoys combining theory with practice.
• Has technical education or equivalent experience in production, workshop, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing processes.
• Has a good understanding of CNC-controlled machines and programming.
• Has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience with SolidWorks and Monitor, or an interest in developing knowledge in these tools is a merit. If you have also worked with MasterCAM, Mazatrol, or similar systems, that is an advantage. You can be a technician with a few years of experience or an engineer with an interest in working closely with production. The most important thing is that you have drive, technical depth, and a willingness to develop.

PartnerTech Innovation AB is a new initiative and a sister company to PartnerTech Precision Technology within the parent company Permec Group. The company is in a growth phase where the defense industry is developing rapidly – and PartnerTech Innovation will contribute to creating new pathways for prototype development, innovation, and advancement.

PartnerTech Precision Technology has one of Sweden's most modern and largest facilities for advanced machining. We aim to be our customers' strategic and prioritized partner and provide high competence within relevant business areas. The production facilities are currently located in Karlskoga and Filipstad and consist of about 85 CNC-controlled machining machines. Additionally, the facilities include modern equipment for non-destructive testing and measurement. The business areas are primarily the defense industry but also the energy sector and general manufacturing industry, which places high demands on quality and reliability.

About the process

The position is a full-time employment where the first 6 months will be through LiNCK, after which it will transition to a permanent position at PartnerTech Innovation.
