Job Description

Do you want to help build the sustainable society of the future as part of the Nordic builders? We are now looking for a dedicated and hardworking Laboratory Assistant for our client's accredited laboratory in Helsingborg.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will contribute to ensuring that the group's companies deliver the right quality in their products and materials. Our laboratory operations consist of seven accredited laboratories, where processes are governed according to European standards. The operations include analysis of road materials, technical support, sampling, and product development.

Common tasks include performing ongoing production and quality control of stone materials, asphalt, concrete, and bitumen. Receiving and registering samples for analysis and reporting. We apply well-developed processes and routines, and we have good system support as well as many competent and positive colleagues. 

We are looking for someone who wants to learn the profession from the ground up. We require you to have completed high school education. You are meticulous, can work independently, and have good collaboration skills. In addition, you have a positive attitude and see solutions instead of problems, as well as the ability to create good relationships. We value order and tidiness. We require good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing production and quality control of materials such as stone materials, asphalt, concrete, and bitumen
  • Handle everything from receiving and registering samples (about 50% of the work is computer/admin)
  • Perform analyses, feasibility assessments, and communicate results to clients
  • The work also involves fieldwork and sampling, as well as lifting items. It can be dirty and heavy work, and also stressful

Qualifications

  • Completed high school education or equivalent
  • B driver's license
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
