Capio Medical Center Tomelilla - we have a medical clinic, a social worker, nurse-led clinics for Asthma/COPD, hypertension, and diabetes, district nurse clinic, elderly care, sampling/lab, and targeted health conversations.
We are a smaller and well-functioning medical center in Österlen where Capio Midwifery Clinic and Capio BVC are located nearby at the Family Center.
In daily work, medical secretaries and receptionists are an important support. With Rehabhuset in Tomelilla, we have a subcontractor agreement where we can, for example, give the patient an acute appointment directly with a physiotherapist/occupational therapist through our appointment book.
Development is important!
Capio continuously works to develop new working methods. We strive to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments based on needs and actively work to utilize everyone's competencies fully, holding daily rounds where we discuss cases.
For a couple of years, we have had TIK (speech recognition), but this fall we are launching the AI tool Tandem, which further facilitates administrative work – journals, referrals, and sick certificates – making work smooth and efficient.
We believe in work-life balance, so you have the opportunity to influence your schedule.
Accessibility, quality, and work environment are important to us, and we continuously work on improvements. Our medical center has had 100% telephone accessibility for several years, and we use digital chat with our patients in the form of Flow. We want to develop, and you have great opportunities to influence. There are short decision-making paths. We are a large network of colleagues and competencies together with all Capio medical centers in the southeast region.
Tomelilla bus/train station is nearby, about 100 m. There is free parking in close proximity to the workplace.
Your roleAs a specialist in general medicine with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you can use your curiosity, clinical eye, and problem-solving ability every day.
We work in teams and believe in the power of collaboration. We have a daily interdisciplinary round, and for sick leave cases, we collaborate closely between doctors, rehab coordinators, and psychosocial resources – to provide the best possible support for patients and our employees.
We offer youWith us, you get more than just a job – you get a workplace where ideas can flourish and where you make a difference every day.
We offer a positive and developing environment with a full focus on our patients. Our medical center is locally managed, which means that decision-making paths are short and that you as an employee have a significant influence. Here, engagement and participation are not just words – they are part of our everyday life.
At the same time, we have the security of being part of a larger organization that provides support, inspiration, and opportunities for knowledge exchange. You get the best of both worlds – the small context where you are important, and the large network that gives you the power to grow.
For you as a doctor, this means a workplace where you can develop in your role, share knowledge with colleagues, and help shape the future of primary care – with both heart and mind.
In addition, we also offer the following:
• Collective agreement • Present manager • Competence development, both internally and externally • Wellness allowance • Breakfast every day • Network within your field • An inclusive workplace where we learn from each other
About youWe are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine – and who likes to think, feel, and sometimes ponder a little extra.
To be considered for the position, you need to be a trained general specialist. Have you worked at a medical center before? Great! But the most important thing for us is that you have the right attitude – that you want to make a difference, are curious, and have an eye for the whole picture. You like to maintain high quality in your work and always have the patient's best interests in focus.
We believe that you are someone who likes to take initiative, collaborate, and contribute to a good work environment. You are clear, confident, and have the ability to structure and prioritize – even when there is a lot going on. You see challenges as opportunities and would like to help develop our operations together with us.
Before permanent employment, we always apply a six-month probationary period.
In short: with us, you get a workplace with breadth, depth, and heart – where you both get to grow and contribute to something truly meaningful.
ApplicationPlease submit your application as soon as possible! We work with ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Welcome to apply – we look forward to hearing from you!
