We are seeking a dedicated laboratory assistant to become a valuable part of our dynamic team. In the role of laboratory assistant, you will focus on microbiological and partially chemical tasks.

We are currently looking for student candidates who can work two shifts per week during the semesters, with one weekday and one weekend day. Additionally, there are excellent opportunities to scale up and work towards full-time during the summer period, Christmas, and other holidays. The shifts vary between short and long, and are scheduled both day and night. The position is based in Fosie, Malmö. To be eligible for the position, we prefer that you have at least 1.5 years left in your studies and can start immediately. In the role of lab assistant, you will be responsible for several different stations in the lab, thus requiring a longer training period.

Your daily activities will include:

• Conducting bacteriological sampling and cultures
• Measuring pH levels
• Sampling and analyzing fat and protein content
• Sensory testing and evaluation of dairy products
• Accurate documentation of work processes
• Collaboration and communication with various departments within the company

To fit into this role, we would like you to meet the following qualifications:

• You are currently a student with at least 1.5 years left in your studies
• You have a strong interest in areas such as biology, chemistry, or food production
• You are flexible and can be available to work on short notice, as well as full-time during breaks and summer
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility are important qualities
• A fondness for dairy products, as sensory assessments are part of the job
